The rot of satan's work

Be content
With the simplest things
Such a lesson from covid lockdowns
And a good philosophy to have
Whilst striving for better
Be content
With what we take so easily for granted
That so much is provided to us
For us
From God
And through Mother Nature
Endless forests
Skies of wonder
The warming sun
And the Spring of beauty
As the quiet flowers
Bring our souls to glee
And harvests of plenty
Each year
We hope and comes
From our simple efforts
And from what we stand upon
The shoulders of so many
So much too has come
From cold rock caves
To powered homes with internet and tv
Ample Water and hot baths
Foods of every kind beyond the raw slice of rotting wild game
Parks to walk in
Fashion
Reading glasses
Cars bikes and even boats
Books and films
And the memory of where once
The city was glowing
With arts and theatres and chefs cooked
Yet
If the power of satan grows
And evils within take control
All will be lost
Destiny crumbles into dustbin
