Our Golden Summer

In the Summer of life Rays sparkled the water’s edge..
Ripples of youth Were reflected in wonder
As the minds clambered and climbed the age of strength - Green, tall Mighty As the Trees... And perched upon cliffs Upon the reeds In willows and oak In caves And caverns of the city streets Upon the savanah Life was with splendour!.
.
Tropical forests Once so abundant Striving Still, always Reaching!.... Oh Life Was so joyous... Yet in the pool Of their inflicted sufferings Life blood flows yielding the solemn brightest vivid red Crying in the Shadows...
the bodies stir
where beautiful trees grew...
As life arose To walk upon you
You were raised you climbed, you were Tall
You the blessed, the wise and called for all!
Reborn A mountain Made to grow Upon a barren barren land And in the sky of mountains Trees there too grew, the Highest in the High You stood, and proudly raised your new found wings To with these giants Rise to Fly!
Our Great Golden Age!
Our endless Summer!
Our redemption! Come let us walk, to seek and find Our time of wonder, this age soon shall come...
where Our eyes shall brightly shine In wisdom, the wise, the blessed, shall climb to rise And in their steps, their eyes.. Others strive to reach, this place we had found Our golden, highest sky... (c) Jason Christopher 2018
Skies of Wisdom, reached by climbing the highest tallest trees...
if we pray perhaps redemption shall find us all!
