Is Being Gay Sinful?

Love expresses the opposite of lust and hate

Is gay sex sinful?

- most certainly, it can be, and often is not, just like straight sex can be most sinful!

How do I square the circle, of the teachings found in scriptures and my own life and beliefs? With difficulty or with ease...

All sex can be sinful -

Straight heterosexual sex is often very sinful!!

Sex - if carried out with hatred, violence, brutal force, in rape and for prostitution, for degradation and subjugation, for black mail, with children, with animals, sex of endless lust, is very sinful -

Such was - A time of Babylon, the Canaanites, the pre civilised world, before the Ten Commandments, where sex was often for domination and subjugation, gay or straight, where abominations against the innocent were the norm, and perhaps in many places in this world, still is. This is the sex of the ancients that is rightly condemned.

All sex can be sinful!!

But between 2 adults of the same sex to express love - is this sinful? I doubt if such sex is sinful, it is a place where sin might come to be, or simply a place where love can express, It is neither sinful nor a "blessed" place, just an expression..that might be intimate love or degrade to sin.....

Fundamentally, people are born straight, or bisexual, or gay, or asexual or intersexual, they are made that way, and Creation is not sinful!!

Lust is the cause and root of many sins, be it for sex, money, power, violence or domination

Sex is most right and most loving and a most blessed state when in marriage, to procreate and bring new life and raise loving families..

but that does not imply gay sex is sinful

Endless sex for no reason becomes meaningless,

self derogatory

and those who seek it end up feeling worthless, used, and often victim to abuse, with disease and suffering.

Yet many too have sex inflicted upon them, as children and as adults -

that is very sinful.

It is the rape, gang rape, violent rape of children, women, and men that are the abominations, the vile sins. The hidden truths. Has soddom and gommora returned? So many sexual assaults are now reported. It is believed over a million are, or have been, victims to child abuse in the UK. Women endlessly hounded and intimidated. Many raped or face violence. The gang rape of young gay men goes endlessly unreported, they are the victims to evil in a perverse hidden society. Encouraged by perverse pornography makers of the 1970s and 80s onwards, and sick sexual psychopaths (men and women) and psychopathic philosophies that have resurfaced from the ancients? Often it is considered almost socially correct, they are said to enjoy it or they want it, or deserve it, basically these young victims are emotionally and psychologically subjugated, often drugged out, and made prisoners of their own biology, what happens after the gang onslaughts? Have most good looking young men and women been raped and eradicated as they drop out of reproducing, go mad, suffer severe mental breakdowns or commit suicide (yes many gay men would have gone on to lead straight lives, there is nothing new here)? Has this negatively impacted the gene pool in terms of health reflected in male health and good looks? Are genetic illnesses now increasing because of it - a selective disadvantage to male good looks? A selective advantage to sexual psychopths and psychopathy? Every body knows that many of both straight and gay men will often find young handsome men attractive and want to physically or sexually dominate young gay men. Many face violent attack. Using sodom and gomorrrah to justify a hatred and condemnation of gays is to misread and mislead what is taught in the bible, a complete inversion of what the message is..

Genesis 10:19-20 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

The Canaanites were to be destroyed because their sins were so evil, and such was the fate of Sodom and Gomorra, they indulged in such evil -

Child sacrifice (infants burned alive in the arms of an idol - a body of a man with a bull's head, such is a personification of the devil, the evidence is found in many sources including Syria-Palestine, Turkey Phoenicians accounts) equating children with animals, treating them as such and often substituting the like for them; incest, temple prostitutes and mass orgies (male & female), rampant violent homosexual rape to exert authority, bestiality (male sex with heffers, female sex with horses and donkeys tied to a woman's bed), idolatry of many gods -

To equate and interpret the story of sodom with simply homosexuality, is to cleanse away the depth and truths of the real abominations that invoked the wrath of God; once considered too shocking, such practices should be known - It was the widespread rape of young men that was prevalent and the rape of men that was condemned.

Meaningless endless sex might be very sinful, yet even then, many are abused as children, have suffered great loss, many have been attacked and harmed, who then find they are unable to form normal relationships, it is a place where sex might overcome them or sex might be completely lost to them in a loving relationship! That is then the sin of society, not of individuals in turmoil who seek inner peace.

Lust can be more sinful than sex, be it gay or straight

and those who so willingly induce it

cannot assume innocence from being called sinful -

endless pornography, endless sexualization, is creating a world of lust, where even children are now more emotionally disturbed and will find relationships more difficult if not impossible and sex meaningless!

Love expresses the opposite of lust and hate

It is lust that is sinful! And violent gang rape an utter abomination of society. This was the crime to be committed by an entire city on the angels in Sodom and Gomorrah. Do these places still exist?

the expression of love in sex, in a loving relationship, is not sinful nor non sinful, it is an expression of an emotional state

Yet the most blessed place for sex, is for procreation in a loving relationship

and to free yourself of lust and sex

can indeed be a blessed place

as many do find this place of inner peace

Love expresses the opposite of lust and hate

These are simply my own views that many might agree with or disagree with

As a child and young man I was considered very good looking, like may others, I faced many brutal violent sexual assaults the first was when I was aged 5. In the UK, one million are thought to have been, or are, child victims to abuse. It is no doubt universal. Has it always been like this? Does it always have to be like this?
